About Us
KR Quarter Horses, LLC, located in Spotsylvania County, VA , is owned by Leigh and Tommy Chapman. We are located on the Curtis family farm where Leigh and her sister, Linda Curtis, were raised by their parents Robert H. and Barbara Curtis. Leigh was taught by her father about good riding skills and horse care while growing up.
Tommy Chapman was raised on a Dairy Farm in Fauquier County, VA by his parents Kenneth and Barbara Chapman. While growing up, he was taught the importance of good quality hay and grain while raising quality livestock.
Leigh and Tommy met 10 years ago and combined their skills, love of horses and sound farming practices to form KR Quarter Horses. Together they run their business while raising their two children on the Curtis farm along with the assistance of Linda Curtis.
